We have applied to become a registered charitable incorporated organisation in the United Kingdom.

We are based in Leeds, in the United Kingdom, Our team of trustees are from London, Hungary & Gaza.

On November 19th 2023, on the birthday of Lady Zainab, after watching the devastation on children in Gaza, we created this charity to find children with a limb difference displaced by war in Gaza, and provide them with the best prosthesis.

See our ten beautiful principles for more info. We are a team of volunteers working on a voluntary basis.

With a team of experts we have designed pathways to prosthesis in Egypt, Qatar, Jordan to name a few. We can also fly out CPO???s to various locations to take measurements and scan injuries. We then use our network of manufacturers to create the prosthetic limb. This could include upper and lower limb, above knee, below knee, below elbow, above elbow, partial hand, foot and eye prosthesis.

We receive referrals from those NGO???s and non-profits that work in Gaza and do medical evacuations such as Kinder Relief & others.

This data enables us to prioritise who we provide prosthesis for. This involves a free pre-assessment with our team of experts based on their potential for prothesis, age, vulnerability, and cause of amputation. Which can sometimes be congenital limb difference in children due to the use of white phosphorus in Gaza.

We use a wide range of CPO???s from different prosthetic backgrounds, and different levels of experience, including researchers and those who have worked with providing prosthetic care for victims of the Ukraine war.

As a secondary priority we can provide prosthetics to over 18???s based on similar needs.

So in a nutshell, your donation goes to prosthetic facilities, CPO???s and the cost of the pathway end-to-end.

Too many to mention, the world???s leading prosthetic providers, the most experienced CPO???s with experience in childhood trauma and blast injury. We work with everything from cost efficient high quality prosthetics to high-tech 3d printed solutions. Together we design solutions, pathways and a better future.

As a charity we do not work in Gaza, we are the prosthetic branch of Fajr Scientific Institute (US, UN, WHO registered non-profit). We provide expertise, training, knowledge, and our pathways to re-design internal infrastructure for Gaza better and stronger than before, so that we can begin pathways internally in Gaza without the need for evacuation.

We work with research and development institutions, doctors, professors and scientists in the fields of blast injury, biomedical engineering, aeronautics, pain management and rehabilitation from traumatic injury in Universities to enhance our knowledge on paediatric blast injuries, to make a more efficient workflow and provide cost effective, high-tech prosthesis such as 3d printed solutions.

This data we provide enables researchers to further technological advancement in the field of prosthetics and rehabilitation in children after blast injury, and we aim to be at the forefront of them, rebuilding the prosthetic infrastructure in Gaza better than it was before.

To top that off, we have access to the great team at Fajr too, over 150 medical professionals!

The trustees are specialists in working with vulnerable, displaced children, an Oxford-graduate cardio thoracic surgeon and an experienced CPO from a leading global manufacturer. Our team of trustees is growing and we will be adding more to the team.

We ensure ourselves, our trustee???s, and stakeholders all adhere to the guidelines and principles based on UK regulations. This includes NSPCC safeguarding standards and guidance, statutory guidance from the FCDO including safeguarding against sexual exploitation and abuse and harassment in the AID sector (SEAH), the Core Humanitarian Standard, and due diligence that everyone abides by the minimum operating standards.

We are the prosthetic wing of Fajr Scientific Institute (US, UN, WHO registered non-profit). We provide expertise, training, knowledge, and our pathways to re-design infrastructure for Gaza better and stronger than before, so that we can begin pathways and workflows within Gaza without the need for evacuation.
